Description:
"Those who look at the serpent do not fear it — they recognize themselves."
There is no innocence in this gaze. It pierces the skin and descends straight to the soul, where unspoken desires dwell. The serpent does not threaten — it reveals. Its silence is not the absence of sound, but an absolute presence, a raw certainty. It does not hide. It stands there, bare in its ancient truth, each scale carrying the weight of the stories that shaped good and evil.
This is not the sin of the flesh, nor the error of a single moment. It is the brutal awakening of consciousness. It is Eve with the fruit in her hands — not repentant, but lucid. It is the bite that births knowledge — and with it, the fall. Because to know is to lose innocence. And sometimes, to fall is to choose to see with your own eyes.
The serpent stares as if it already knows. As if it always has. Because in the end, it is nothing but your shadow.
The sin is not outside of you.
It is your most honest reflection.
It is what remains when all masks are stripped away.
